About the hotel
Set in 14 acres of private woodlands and gardens, the hotel takes its name from one of the greatest Cistercian foundations in the country, Furness Abbey.

Directions
The Abbey House Hotel is on the a590 (30 miles from Junction 36 on the m6), north of Barrow in Furness, about 24 miles south west of Windermere. Take the A590 to Barrow in Furness, and then follow the road signs for Furness General Hospital and Furness Abbey. The hotel is less than 100 yards on your left.
